A group of skaters from the Scooter’s Indoor Speed Club competed this past weekend at the Coupe VRL #2 held at Lava’s Recreateque just outside of Montreal.
The meet served as a prepation competition for the Canadian Indoor Championships which will take place at the same track on April 14-15.
The group skaters traveled together and did an excellent job supporting and helping each other during the competition. The skaters helped each other with sorting wheels, helping gather video for technical and tactical analysis, and cheering each other on!
- Eric Gee skated to a 2nd place overall finish in the Master Men’s division. Eric Gee faced stiff competition frmo VRL’s Masters, skating very well but was at a disadvantage with wheels that didn’t grip!
- Alexie placed 1st and Marco Frusteri finished 2nd in the Juvenile Girls and Boys. Marc Frusteri skated the obstable course in 10.5-seconds!
- Peter Doucet placed 2nd and Leo Frusteri placed 3rd in the Open Men’s, Scott Pauley placed 5th. Doucet won the 500-meter sprint while Frusteri skated a very strong elimination race to place 2nd.
